In this article, we take a look at the top 25 iconic FIFA Ultimate Team cards that have shaped the game, capturing the imagination of FUT players globally.

Fifa 13

Dede (Fifa 13)

Dede was an absolute wall in FIFA 13. His Brazilian nationality and impressive pace for a center-back made him a staple in every sweaty Brazilian hybrid team. He was tough to beat in the air, had great physical stats, and was perfect for outmuscling strikers.

Felipe Santana (FIFA 13)

Felipe Santana was the ultimate cheap beast in FIFA 13. A Bundesliga center-back with insane pace, height, and heading accuracy. He formed an unbeatable duo with Dede, and if you faced them in Weekend League, you knew it was going to be a struggle.

Alexander Esswein (Fifa 13)

Esswein wasn’t the highest-rated player, but his 90+ pace and decent shooting made him a fantastic super-sub. His low rating often led to him being overlooked, but in the right hands, he was lethal on the counterattack.

Emmanuel Emenike (Fifa 13)

A true FIFA legend, Emenike was a striker that brought fear to any defense. His raw power, blistering pace, and strength made him the perfect forward for a sweaty, counter-attacking playstyle. Emenike was a cheat code for many FIFA 13 players.

Ramires (Fifa 13)

88 pace for a central midfielder is unheard of but in a game where pace is everything it ensured he was a sought after player. His card was like gold dust for the first few months, and even when it became more readily available he held quite a high price tag.

Fifa 14

Fredy Guarin (Fifa 14)

Guarin’s FIFA 14 card was well-rounded, offering everything you could ask for in a midfielder. With his powerful long shots, he could score screamers from distance. He was a budget beast for many Serie A squads, and his versatility made him invaluable.

Victor Ibarbo (FIFA 14)

Ibarbo was the definition of a FIFA cult hero. His pace was out of this world, and his strength allowed him to shrug off defenders with ease. He terrorised defenses and was a staple in sweaty Serie A teams, often alongside Gervinho and Doumbia.

Jackson Martínez (Fifa 14)

Martínez was an underrated striker with high finishing stats, making him a clinical choice for many hybrid squads. He wasn’t the fastest, but his aerial ability and physical presence in the box made him a fantastic target man.

Ignazio Abate (FIFA 14)

A speedy right-back from AC Milan, Abate was a fan-favorite due to his blistering pace. In a game dominated by fast wingers, he was the perfect counter, locking down the right side of the defense with ease.

Peniel Mlapa (Fifa 14)

Mlapa was a hidden gem in FIFA 14, combining good pace and strength for a silver-rated striker. He could be a nightmare for defenders due to his physicality, making him an excellent budget option in Bundesliga silver squads.

Fifa 15

Seydou Doumbia (Fifa 15)

Doumbia was one of the most OP players in FIFA history. His combination of pace, dribbling, and shooting made him almost unplayable. Pair him with Ibarbo, and you had the ultimate sweaty strike duo.

Gervinho (FIFA 15)

Gervinho was unmatched. His finesse shots from the edge of the box were deadly, and he was a great addition to any Serie A team.

Victor Ibarbo (FIFA 15)

Back again in FIFA 15, Ibarbo remained a top-tier choice due to his speed and strength. His ability to outpace defenders was game-changing, making him a nightmare to play against.

Biabiany (Fifa 15)

Biabiany was one of the fastest players in FIFA 15, making him a must-have for any Ultimate Team squad. His raw speed made him a menace on the wings, and he was perfect for counter-attacking playstyles.

Emmanuel Emenike (FIFA 15)

Emenike returned in FIFA 15 with another powerhouse card. He had everything a striker needed: pace, strength, and clinical finishing. If you were looking for a budget beast, Emenike was your man.

Fifa 16

Naldo (Fifa 16)

Naldo was an exceptional center-back in FIFA 16. His height, defensive stats, and surprising speed for his size made him a rock at the back. He was also a set-piece threat, scoring many headers from corners.

Dembele (Fifa 16)

Dembele was a box-to-box beast in FIFA 16. His physical presence, combined with great dribbling and passing, made him the perfect midfield general.

Hector Bellerin (Fifa 16)

Bellerin’s pace was his standout attribute in FIFA 16. He was the go-to choice for any Premier League squad, offering blistering speed down the right flank.

Yannick Bolasie (Fifa 16)

Bolasie was known for his 5-star skills and unpredictable dribbling. He had a unique flair that made him a joy to use, and his infamous “Bolasie Flick” became a signature move for many FIFA players.

Salvatore Sirigu (Fifa 16)

Sirigu was an underrated goalkeeper in FIFA 16. He had excellent reflexes and positioning, making him a reliable shot-stopper for many squads, especially in Serie A teams.

Fifa 17

Jack Butland (Fifa 17)

Butland’s FIFA 17 card was the stuff of legends. Despite being an 82-rated goalkeeper, he played like a 90+ rated icon. His saves defied logic, and he was one of the most overpowered keepers in the game.

Moussa Sow (Fifa 17)

Sow’s normal rare gold card was rather standard, but his MOTM card was incredible, he had pace, shooting, dribbling and physicality making him almost impossible to defend against.

Chris Smalling (Fifa 17)

In a game where defending was hard, Chris Smalling made it that little bit easier. He had the pace to keep up with the quicker attackers, something that came in quite handy!

Ahmed Musa (Fifa 17)

While his spell in the Premier League was brief, his lasting impact on Fifa this year was generational. His pace was used & abused by many and he was always a nightmare to defend against.
