Kieffer Moore

Kieffer Moore shot to fame during Euro 2020 as he lead the line for a Wales team that included Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey. Moore started all but one Euro 2020 match as he kept Tyler Roberts out of the starting 11 due to their contrasting styles of football.

Moore has a good goal-to-game ratio as he has found the net 87 times in 276 appearances while also providing 22 assists during his time at various clubs throughout the English football pyramid and one season in the Eliteserien division (Norway).

Following on from his impressive performances throughout the Euros Wales Online has reported that his valuation has more than tripled from £4.5m to £15m with several Premier League clubs looking to capture his signature.

After a number of seasons trying to carve his own path in the Football League, he found success up at Rotherham on loan, before continuing that rich vein of form at Barnsley, Wigan, and of course, at Cardiff City last season.

Arnaut Danjuma

Danjuma is a player we could see in the Premier League sooner rather than later. He joined Bournemouth at the beginning of the 19/20 season from Belgium team Club Brugge in a deal worth almost £15m.

His first season at the Cherries was obstructed with 2 injuries (Hamstring & a fractured foot) and as a result, was limited to just 2 full 90-minute games all season.

However, this season he has returned 17 goals & 8 assists in 37 games, with the majority of his contribution coming from the LW. His fast pace and skillful dribbling make him an ideal winger and with the likes of Southampton and Leeds all showing interest it might be soon that we see Bournemouth say farewell to their prized assets.

Adam Armstrong

Adam Armstrong joined Blackburn back in 2018 in a loan deal that ran from the 9th January until the end of the season. He impressed during his short loan spell and as a result, secured a permanent deal to the Championship team for a fee believed to be £1.7m.

To date, Armstrong has registered 64 goals and 19 assists in 160 appearances. In the 20/21 season, Armstrong played the vast majority of his games as their striker, however, in the previous seasons he played across the ‘front 3’ with the majority of his time being played on the wing.

His incredible pace and versatility to play across the front 3 will certainly make him a target for some Premier League teams. However, his current price tag of over £16m may deter some potential bidders.

Jason Knight

Jason Knight is a young talent who currently applies his trade for Preston North End and has been an ever-present figure in the center of the park over the last 2 seasons. At just 20 years of age, he has already got himself a wealth of knowledge from his 74 appearances in the English second flight.

Knight tends to play as a deep-lying playmaker who can spray a pass to either flank with ease. His impressive performances have already earned him 7 appearances for Ireland as he looks to cement his future with his country.

Mallik Wilks

This is more of an out-there prediction but Mallik Wilks should not be overlooked. His explosive pace and incredible strength are undoubtedly his strengths. He predominantly plays on the right-wing but can also utilize his strengths on the opposite side.

Wilks had his breakthrough season during the 2018/19 campaign when he registered 28 goal contributions. This earned him a transfer to Championship side Barnsley and then in the January window he was sent on loan to struggling side Hull where he was able to register 5 goals in the second half of the season.

Despite being relegated Hull were keen to sign Wilks on a permanent and got their man for an undisclosed fee. Last season Mallik Wilks registered 22 goals & 9 assists in 50 appearances which ultimately helped Hull City bounce back to Championship football at the 1st time of asking.

Other players to note are Marc Guehi, who undoubtedly would have made our top 5, but he has signed for Crystal Palace from Chelsea, following an impressive 2020/21 campaign with Swansea. Another player who would have made our list was Michale Olise but he also signed for Crystal Palace just 7 days ago!
